BluSeal Splice & Terminal Sealing Solution
BluSeal by Eurotech provides superior protection against water ingression and contaminants in splices and terminals. Drip and dip applied, BluSeal penetrates between wire strands and insulating jacket, curing to a durable / flexible barrier. BluSeal’s unique low-viscosity automotive-grade formulation has robust moisture and chemical resistance over a wide range of temperatures. BluSeal provides a permanent and effective seal, preventing corrosion failures over the life of the vehicle even on high wire count junctions.
BluSeal is a low viscosity liquid sealer that cures quickly, forming a durable, semi-flexible barrier. This unique automotive-grade formulation has excellent bend characteristics across a wide temperature range. It also offers robust moisture and chemical resistance. Used with a secondary insulator, BluSeal provides a permanent, effective seal for splices or terminals over the wire harness’s life.
Unlike other methods, BluSeal penetrates between each wire strand and under the insulating jacket. It then cures into a non-penetrable bond. BluSeal also permanently blocks water and contaminants, preventing corrosion failures.
Since BluSeal works at the wire-strand level, it can seal most splices. This is effective even with high wire counts and substandard construction, where other methods might fail. We also recommend design and process validation before serial production in your application.
